ONE DAY

This exhibition presents ceramics and textiles that experiment
with layering—both as material process and as metaphor. These works invite us to imagine a future in which women, queer people, and marginalized communities no longer measure their worth against systems of domination, but instead reclaim self-love as a quiet, radical force. Who could have known that one day they would love themselves?

A central question in these works is self-worth. I often find myself uncertain—about my work, my voice, even my right to take up space. I ask myself whether this insecurity comes from within, or whether it is shaped or at least encouraged by a society that profits from my self-doubt? In a capitalist system, insecurity can be beneficial: if we doubt ourselves, we keep producing, consuming, and striving to match an ever-shifting standard.
These layered pieces become a site for that questioning. Each
fold, seam, and surface holds contradiction: vulnerability beside resistance, insecurity beside imagination. It suggests another way of living—one where value is not earned, but inherent; one where tenderness becomes a tool of defiance.
In this space, I search for forms of belonging that do not require perfection. A future where self-love is not a soft escape, but an act of refusal — a quiet, steady way of redefining what it means to live, be independent and, at the same time, belong.
